Oxford’s most fabulous a-capella group, Out of the Blue, are sharp as hell (thankfully just in looks) in the steamiest ever rendition of “Santa Baby”.
gloves shirts are off now and, as they prance, pose, and generally look inappropriately hot for a library setting, the group make Kylie’s rendition look virginal and Michael Bublé celibate.
Once again, the group is hoping to raise money for Helen and Douglas House, a local children’s hospice. This is the latest in a string of successful charity singles by the singers, including last year’s Xmas cover of “All I Want for Christmas is You”, and the wildly popular music video filmed by the group for Shakira’s ‘Hips Don’t Lie’ which raised over £10k.
OOTB have already received coverage from a wide range of national and international news outlets, with ABC News reporting on them in the States and one online magazine describing the group’s cover as ‘deliciously homoerotic’.
Ifan Jenkin, who performs with the group, commented “The day of filming was very memorable – in front of famous landmarks such as the Bridge of Sighs proved interesting as we had quite an audience of tourists as well as the occasional cyclist photobomb the shots. Despite it being a very tiring day, we needed but think of the children at Helen & Douglas House in order to experience the fresh wave of energy required for the next take. Every penny we raise for H&D House makes us in OOTB very proud to have been able to contribute to this very deserving charity.”
Santa baby, how about one of these boys under VERSA’s tree?
